Suicide

I woke up this morning to find my 10 in Red belly Pacu and committed suicide. Or at least I thought.

He was not moving not breathing and not wet. Was sticky a bit. So I am assuming he was out of the tank for quite a while

I picked him up and thought i saw his gills move so I put him back in the water and helped him move to get the water in the gills. I also put his mouth close to the water return pipe on my canister filter.

It worked he is now back to his old self but seriously he looked dead!!!

he pushed the glass lid off the top if that was what you were reffering to

another testament to just how resiliant pacu can be. apparently both in and out of the water.

guess you found him just in time, hopefully nothing bad happens to him as a result of being out for awhile. good luck and weigh down that top from now on
