suitable tank mates for my Kels?

just got a 'pair' of kels from a friendly LFS, and now searching around for some cool tank mates... because they seem to be rather shy??

any suggestions? dun want other monster fishes, yet i guess i can't put in fishes that are too small...

cichlids preferred.... any suggestions guys? am tempted to add some H. Temporalis, would they fit?

here's the pair, there're settling down quite nicely although not coming to the front as often as i wish they would..

or should i not add in any tankmates at all?

U cud put bichirs for the bottom, datnoids, silver dollars, aros(n for u an azn arow), pike cichlids, barramundi, tigs, etc...ino most of them arent cichlids but theyre classic tankmates for pbass. Oh yea more peacock basses!!!! lolol

Those Kels are stunning and big, nice pick up mate!

Personally I'd look for more cichla but if you want other cichlids a group of Rotkiel sevs, Uarus or H.Psittacus would look nice and do well with your cichla.
