I am curious as to your pH and hardness as I have heard that they prefer a high pH with a relatively low hardness for reproduction. How long have you had them and how many surviving shrimplets do you think you have gotten? How long are they berried (typical for neos is 21 days, just curious if they are similar)?

hi... this batch been with me for around one weeks plus... when i bought the batch a few females is already carrying eggs with them... ph wise... mine is measuring around 7... didn't measure the hardness though... :popcorn:just to add... have around five casualty so far...

I know that lots of casualties are common initially with these species. i will be interested to see if you get tank bred berried females. Best of luck! They are lovely.

Wow that is awesome to have bred them. I am sure there prices are sky rocketing and very expensive. I'll be interested when they become more common and cheap or you give a good deal, lol :nilly:.

Rach, could you please explain what often causes the high mortality rate? I've never had Sulawesi shrimps and I was interested but the high mortality rate record is really ticking me off.
