sulfur reactor on ray tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Small rays probably small load. Bio filtration does not have to be allot to keep up but low nitrates is good. Probably feeding the right amount and keeping the tank good for its size.

The reactor will need to be massive to work at all

You just about get 1 drip per second on the shelf units

They also need a massive circulation pump to move water around the unit

If you drip the unit to fast and you will get a rotten egg small to fast and you get bacteria build up on the beads

I run one on the 350g tank for about 2 years with little or no effect on the nitrates

Maybe things work better now as things move on and it's been 5 years since I run one

You may get a reactor to work up to 300 gal

It will need to be a big reactor but it will be a pump over 1200 lph to move the water around in it
