FYI, there are 3 islands in Indonesia where you can find this fish, Sumatra, Borneo (Kalimantan), and Papua ( Irian Jaya).
As far I have been collecting them:
- Sumatra's datnoid they always have 4 bars, color more "stable", and Yelow based body color.
-Kalimantan's datnoid they have 2 based body color. red copper, pale yellow. They can have mix bars, 3, 4, sometimes non symmetrical bars.
-Papua's datnoid is NGT
I think whether stable or not the fish is depend on the fish mentally itself. An aggresive (brave) datnoid will have stable color.
Sumatra datnoid are hard to find today.
