I just got a message from an owner of a LFS that he is going to have a new batch of Siamese Tigers. He informed me that he will have Sumatra Siamese Tigers and Sumatera Siamese Tigers. I believe that Sumatera was the old name of Sumatra in Indonesia. Is there really a difference ? Or, Is he trying to pull a fast-one and sell me an Indonesian Tiger ?:(:WHOA::jaw-dropp

I say just wait until it lands and take a look at it.

History major thinks difference is only size? Historical nature of names inferred is correct.

According to theLFS owner. The 3" sumatra ST is $30 and the 10" Sumatera ST is $ 300.

The 3" one will be IT. You cannot find 3" Pulchers around and if you could they would be more then $30.

While the 10" for $300 is a normal price for a real Pulcher, some places will charge this amount for an Indo because they think it is a Pulcher or because large Dats of any species are hard to get in the area.
