sump/aquarium assembly

Thanks so much guys that answers almost all my questions.

Do you guys think the sump will be fine as a rimless design?

Will be 2 or so months before the assembly starts but I'm thinking I'll be ordering the glass with all the holes cut and everything. Right now that option looks about 200 dollars cheaper than getting a brebuilt tank and I can't easily find an aquarium with these dims used so making one seems the most reasonable course of action.

It would be fine since you wont be filling up the enter sump with water

Once a weak the sump will fill up to about 85 percent capacity when the automated water change kicks in. If you look in the original drawings there is a hole on the back of the sump near the top, that is the overflow that will empty into my basement sump and be pumped out of my house.

I'm curious if you guys think that I should have a micro bubble baffle in there or if that is even a real concern for fresh water application? I notice its not a consideration in many fresh water supper sump designs.

Every tank that i have seen that is made by a manufacturer Has the bottom glass on bottom and the front back and sides sitting on the bottom glass with the sides between the front and back panel.

2b looks to be the side panel and the front or rear panel.

Thank you so much I'll modify my design to reflect that. Haven't ordered the glass yet but total it will cost less than getting a prefabbed tank and buying the excess glass and getting it drilled.
