Sump Construction Questions - First Build, Pics

Personally, for ease, I'd leave the tank assembled, and run a nice bead. Every time you add a baffle, you are increasing the structural integrity. Plus a sump won't hold as much water as it would if it were an aquarium. So, I think you will be more than fine assuming the silicon holding the glass together was in good shape before.

For flipping the sump...no not really. Its for lining the bead.

what keep the water from going back into the sump from the return lines? they look lower them the intakes? So once your power goes out will him intakes pull water back in at that level?
 
yep that is what we thought... Thanks but i dont think my sump can hold much water when the power goes out..... :(
