Sump driving me crazy!!!!

Well all the hardware stores around me have a very poor selection. So I ended up using the clear tubing but at the bends I used elbow bends for tubing. This keeps the clear tubing straight and seems to be working great so far.

Found out the leak wasn't from the tubing but from the one of the pipes going through the drilled glass. I guess the rubber gasket didn't seal properly. Can I just remove water from over flow only or does the entire tank need to be emptied?

I like using Schedule 80 bulkhead fittings because the gaskets are a lot beefier and much less like to leak than the standard bulkheads:

I would also keep a backup on hand. This is one of those items that if it breaks, you are going to need a replacement quickly.

Sometimes just laying the flex PVC or vinyl tubing in direct sunlight will be enough to soften it up.
