Sump & Overflow Questions

If I wanted to run dual herbie (because of 2 overflow boxes) and run 2 pumps so i have one as backup, how would many holes would I need and where would I put them?

Im going to start drawing pictures to figure this out

Depends on wether you want to returns coming back up through the boxes. We run ours on the 300 through the boxes and use 6 holes. 2- 1" and 4 1 1/2"

I am assuming when you have 1 one return in each box and still results in good flow throughout the tank? I wasnt sure how returns on opposite side of the tank would work. How much flow do you have in your tank?
