I haven't drilled the drip system overflow yet. I was planning on running it about a week to see where I want my water levels to be first. But its going to be a 1 inch drain just incase of the same reason!. But what happens when im only running my waterlevel an inch above the pump level. And the power goes out and I lose all that water.... when the pump kicks back on it will run dry? Is there a type of special surge protector I can plug the pump into so that if the power goes back put it will trip a breaker and the pump wont go back on until I manually do it?
Thank you for the compliment! The ply tanks scare me a bit but this tank has been running almost a year (knock on wood) I just moved it and am upping the filtration.
Should I be concerned about using totes as a sump? Im going to build a tight center support. A few friends of mine have used them for years with out problems. I guess I just have trust issues lol!
