ok..... so i finnished getting the pictures and the thing is i had to use my laptop... :eek:

all the bio balls are in garbage bags so what should i do to the sump with the filter sock??
i have alot of spare acrylic left over from other stuff....

i did one of the first overflow relocations on this site lol! it was very sketchy because nobody else could help with ideas lol
 
The sump with the filter sock: fill the next compartment with bio balls then your done. Keep it simple. The only other thing I would do is add a drain to one of the sumps for a trickle system then no more water changes :)

This is why you may need to remove a few teeth in the overflow. The overflow only has two sides now instead of three.
 
what do you mean by add a drain for a trickle system?
haha what does a that look like/do? (other than take away water changes)

haha it originally had four sides becuase it was a central overflow

Ahhhh, your in trouble then lol you cut the capacity to drain by half. No big deal if you have large fish just break off every other tooth........

How about the holes in the bottom? Did the old location have two 1.5" drains or more?
 
and yes im going to be doing rays and larger predatory fish... the dimensions of the tank are 80"L x 34"W x 32"H
