OK, I wasn't following this thread last night - but I have a question for you:
Why would you make all these changes to your system just to have the Hammerhead rather than going with a smaller pump like the super dart gold as aldiaz suggested. The smaller pump will provide plenty of turnover, use less electricity, and is probably cheaper to buy. If you go with the smaller pump, your drains won't need to be changed at all, maybe cut out a couple teeth on the overflow but that's it.
I think if you go with the hammerhead you're going to have a hard time getting enough water into your sump to keep up with it.
