Hello everyone, im thinking of doing a 40G sump for my 150G showtank. I dont know what brand is the best for the price and reliable. I need a pump that cabable of pushing the water up 5ft from the sump to the tank with the flowrate of at lease 600gph. Please help

I've heard Jebao pumps are pretty reliable, and pretty well priced too. A DCT 4000 should suit your tank well.

Sure, but the Jebao would probably last longer.

$70 isn't that bad. I'm about to set up a $250 pump on my sump.

Don't scrimp on important equipment like a pump, it's the heart of your tank. It sounds like you haven't got it set up yet so i'd put it off a few extra weeks and save a little more money to put to a great pump and not just an average one.
