sump return with flexible hose

Regarding isolating the pump, you can also use short (2 or 3 inch) lengths of silicone tubing on each side of the pump and hard plumb the rest.

Silicone tubing is SUPER expensive though. You get if from hospital supply stores.

If you use flexible tubing for the return, how do you get it into the tank without using any 90 degree connectors if you want to use a spray bar?

Also does anyone know of any pictures of a setup with flexible tubing. I'm mostly interested in the tubing going to the wet/dry and then the return going into the tank.

i go flexible for about 1.5 feet then i go pvc here's a pic

Is your PVC piping clamped to the stand to reduce vibration noise? That would help tremendously.

Also, what size I.D. is the hose you are using to connect the pump to the PVC? If it is 3/4", then you might want to consider removing the first two 90's and use hose directly to the PVC piping. There is flow turbulence using the 90's.

BTW, that is a nice setup on the sump.
