Sump size for 125 fowlr/preds

What kind of overflows are you looking at? Have taken a look at www.glass-holes.com . They sell complete overflow kits. I use one on my refugium. It is a great product and they aren't that much more than a HOB style overflow, and are more reliable. Have you picked out a protein skimmer yet?
 
I'm pretty sure my tank has a tempered bottom and I can't afford to chance it so I'm going with hang ons. I've talked with some people who use them and I know which ones to get and which to avoid.

Those overflow kits go through the back or sides of the tank not bottom. I have used both HOB and the gl*******s.com overflows. While I never had an issue with the HOB overflows, the gl*******s.com kit just gives me a little more piece of mind.


Have you picked out a skimmer yet?
