Sun Cat and Snakehead

i see those all the time at the pet stores. at fish2u.com they are selling them cheap. but there out right now. I had one, never saw it to much. but i knew he was in there bc i would be missing fish

Baby sun cats are commonly available, but I've NEVER seen an adult.

I like the snakehead.

Thanks, we agree, sun cats are beautiful!!
They are often confused with the Nigricollaris, those have two spots either side which sort of mould into a collar, but are very similar to the sun cat.
Nice to hear that other people keep them too.

I bought 2 a month ago at Petsmart. Mine were about 5" at the time. They were very agressive and swam around the tank chasing the other fish all the time. They a few small fish they could catch and killed an angel fish that was the same sizse. Sometimes they would hide in the plants. This past weekend I was cleaning the tank and took the strainer off the intake for the filter. When I came home I couldn't find them until I took the filter apart and they were in the intake tube. I thought they were too big to worry about them being able to go up it. I won't replace them though. They were not very good tankmates.
