Quick question,
Could a Sun Cat fare in a 36''x12''x24'' with a 4 line pim?
Or would I need something a long the lines of 48''x18'' for both of them to be comfortable?

i would think theyde be bickering constantly and running into eachother space and even if u put pletny of caves for them to choose from they will fight ver that one cave.

Alright, I've never kept either species so i just thought I'd ask.
Would the 36''x12'' be suitable for a sun cat though?

i would say no, for both together and singly

4-lines grow to about 10-12 inches and are constant swimmers. So a 36 by 12 would be small him as an adult and not a whole lot room for it.

Sun cats grow to about 12". supposedly they reach 17" but only one person has ever told me they've actually seen one. Basslover you the man.

55 and up would be a bare min for me.

I've never seen a 12'' sun cat.
I've never kept them, but the biggest I've seen was 8''

Guess I'll go for the 75G.

my dad has an 11" sun cat in his tank. and mine is pushing the 9-10" mark, or at least last time i was home he was.

The 4-line is about 6'' already.
It' alright though, I've reconsidered and I'm taking the tank in a different direction.
