Has anyone ever had one? good/bad experiences?

had one for awhile, but he died... good fish, just a bit skittish and nervous...

I have to in my monster grow out tank with a tsn, rtc x tsn jardiniid shark and 2 pacu. There atleast 2-3 inches smaller then the next smallest fish and about 6 inches smaller the the hybrid and yet are doing fine... I hardly get to see them though because they hide in the back of my waterfall filters and only come out at nite...

have had one for just over a yr and its finally staying out of hiding. seems to have slowed in growth and dont know what it eats. Always swims madly when the lights are out.

saw one about 10" that swam like crazy no matter lights on or off. ate shrimp and pellets.

had one for a few months in a grow out tank and it hides alot it will swim around all over the place and see me and gos and hides

i had three there cool looking but u never really see them

i figured i'd have alot of hiding places for him while he was young and not have as many maybe two or three hiding
places when he gets bigger so that way i'll know where he's at. got to keep my *****es in check.

I have two.. they are around 6" +, their growth slowed once they hit around 6"
