Sun catfish and rays?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a suncat with Rays... It is ok most of the time but sometimes the cat will try to borrow under the back of the ray. No idea why . But I could see it stressing a weaker ray.

Mine are fine with rays..... But I have lots of driftwood.

They sure seem to know how to tick off the Wolves though..... lol.

So are they like ids in behavior or do they need somewhere to hide? I don't want to add anything I just want them to be able to free swim like an Id shark.

They will try to hide in any nook and crannie in ur tank. So keep that in mind. But a few together will stay and huddle in an area until food comes. Then become active as long as no hiding spots. Won't patrol the tank like let's say Zamora cats.

Hmmm all I want are two cats to patrol my tank that max at 12-18" that don't hide and will eat any food my rays don't want. I just want two cool active cats other than an Id shark lol. Anything like that Im open too. Obviously I don't want any cats that will tear into my rays just good healthy eaters also keeping them cheaper would be nice...
