How hard are they to find because i just found 2 while getting my dat at Petland Duluth, they are 3 inches and are twelve dollars.
 
ya these are the first ive seen down here.
 
i got mine at about an inch for6.99 had him for about 2 months and he grows really slow cool little guy all the same
 
i think ive seen a couple here but dont remember the price lol
 
I went to a LFS here almost 3 months ago ...saw a tank labeled with a Sun Catfish ... Looked in the tank... didn't see one... but I saw a cute little RTC... which was labeled as a Suncatfish... Thanks for the discounted price on my RTC Nature Pet Center :ROFL:

I love when LFS do that and dont know what there selling. 2 weeks ago i went into a LFS and got a silver arowana for $4:nilly: because it was mislabeled and the employee didnt know what it was :screwy:. but u gotta love the discount :ROFL:
 
Sometimes the petsmart around me sells Fire eels for 11.99 or someting realy cheap like that.

Sun cat's are pretty common around here. I think we get like 8 or 9 bucks, but if you like them, I would say go for it, that's not a bad price.
 
Completely uncommon here. I'd be lucky to get one for $25.
