Sunfish max size?

I thought you might be interested in some record sized weights for sunfish, no lengths though.
According to the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame - All Tackle records:

Bluegill can reach 14-16 inches max (found one dead in a 3acre farmpond near nevada missouri that was 15inches long as a kid). Green and orangespotted sunfish are smaller and can be housed in a 75-125g successfully.

Speaking of bluegills! ive caught a 16" one before at those lake where all the bluegills are surpass 10"s and up. And fish tank? i think u need a 55 gallon only. They are just sunfishes, they dont grow as big as bass's.

Keeping a 16" long fish in a 13" wide tank is kinda cruel, don't you think?

That depends on species, i have BlueSpotted sunfish at about 3 inches and holding, OrangeSpotted also stay small, but Other species get much larger
