Sunfish Monsters

I get them in that NY lake.In fact the Hudson river has allot of them. I've never tried to ketch them in the winter.

but when you see spawning red Brest in SC it kinda makes our northern one look drab.

haha those are beauties. during the summer me and ceeej31 hang out at a lake near my house during the bluegill spawning season and we snorkel down into the weeds and catch em with my net. they are very defensive during spawning season and tend to stay with their nest no matter what. we caught some huge bluegill last summer that way and almost caught some perch
