Moss and Algae have never killed any of my fish; Driftwood put nutrients into the water that I think allow for the Algae to grow faster, that being said whenever I have tested the parameters of my tanks that have driftwood plants and algae in them, the parameters are usually good. I like Elodea, the Elodea plant is known to grow at a medium pace and can help produce oxygen for your fish.

It sometimes goes by the name anacharis but it Is actually Elodea Canadensis (sp?), mine grows roots that go through the small pebbles into the Kitty litter (natural type) substrate at the bottom of my tank.

Good luck, youll need 16 size hook or smaller to get O,spots, maggots or small pieces of worm will work if theyre biting.

nope, aquabid
