Sunfish

What's the best time of year to get small sunfish. My boss has a long filled with pumpkinseeds and I would like to catch small ones to put in my aquarium

pretty much any time of year for p-seeds. Shoot for around april-june you should start seeing YOY schools swimming around.

Sometime between late May and mid June would be perfect, I'd say. Pieces of redworm on a size 14 barbless hook or size 16-22 nymphs should be perfect if you're wanting to catch aquarium keeping sized fish.
