whats IP? im saying again his poop looks good, no white poo at all, and also i already treated with metro which supposed to treat heximita.. im wondering maybe its not a problem in its intestine, maaybe it something else...
IP stands for internal parasite. If eating well and poop is good then maybe something intrinsically wrong like a tumor or congenital deformity showing now as the fish grew.
i took these pics today. im very worried about himIn addition to the sunken belly he has those black tiny spots on his mouths and his body and this red patch near his gills. Im starting to suspect septicemia and thinking of starting a treatment of kanamycin.
What do you think? should i try more anti parasite med or should i start with kana?
Someone told me theres a coomon problem with fish that they are born with short intestines,he's saying that beacause the fish poop is looking good and he is still loosing weight that can be the problem with him Did you hear about it? he's saying that the treatment is to put food that wont rot and to leave it in the tank for all day, that way the fish can eat whenever he wants and he will absorb more nutritions. what do you think? do you suggestions for food that wont go bad for 10-12 hours in the tank?
Not sure if it’s a common problem but happens. Never heard of food that won’t rot. Most food will breakdown especially with the bacteria in the water. Eventually worms and hydra will start to form and feed on the food. Just keep an eye on ur water if ur planning this as it’ll add to the nitrogen cycle.
the fish is alone in a 200L tank so the bio load is very low. but arent there food that ment to be eaten for a few days? i think is saw something like this in a FS
