Mines a similar size but if I tried to take pics of mine like that it'd be out flapping round the floor

Harder to shoot indoors. My lighting is bad, this is the best I can do.

I kept it outside for the entire summer since early May. I fed it shrimp, superworms, nightcrawlers, redworms, grasshoppers, cicadas, frogs, fish, a few pellets, crickets, and a few more things. I think the exposure to the sun throughout the summer helped slightly with its color, but not too much. It was never in direct sunlight, always kept in the shade with sunlight every now and then.
