I reckon sunlight has defo played a big part aswell as his diet , he's so much darker than mine and I thought mine was dark compared to others , he's looking good bossing the tank , you planning on tankmates ?

Thanks. I didn't realize how dark mine is until you guys pointed it out.
 
Looking good since last post im sure its got even darker

Unfortunately i lost my 22" beast :(
ive got another baby jar coming tomorrow only 6" i might dark out the tank as much as poss , my lfs have got a 8" one that's really dark in there show tank its in with dark plants bogwood with black tank back sides and bottom

I like the darker colors, sometimes the lighter colors makes them look too washed out, as if they aren't getting enough sunlight.
