A big fear for me so I always have multiple filters on each tank and keep a spare, lol. Thats why I have three FX5/6's on the 300g and have a spare FX5 just in case. Trying not to overstock but so many cool fish....
i have 3 canisters on my 150. Fx6, Eheim, 2 x 2028. When one 2028 started a pinhole leak I couldn't get a new canister to replace it asap. I got the SICCE Whale Italian canister to replace the Eheim. Now the Eheim is on standby as a backup.
i lost a good number. Here is the list of fish from what I remembered. During that short time, we were expecting a newborn and dealing with some plumbing pipes issue at home so I could not get a new canister setup asap.FishNCash how many fish and polys you lost when that happened?
