FYI, I try to not do a direct comparison between these two fish. As far as I can tell, these fish are on par retail value wise. These are individual fish and are not meant to be representations of the farms best stock since I know they aren't. A lot of what happens with these fish is definitely because of the care I provide. Okay, with that said....
The diablo has been a more animated fish since the get go. Right out of the bag, he was full of piss and vinegar.
Both fish took a while to get a good appetite going, but the Diablo started much sooner than the MAJU. The maju only ate at the diablo's level just only recently. In fact when I added the turtle a few weeks ago, he really become competitive at feeding time. So I'm looking forward to a growth spurt and hopefully more colour from the MAJU in the next while.
I like the MAJU and have high hopes for it, but I'm super impressed with the Diablo.
