i dont see what was the problem ? i wouldnt waste a 15$ fish for a feeder when i can go and ask my brother for a ton of guppies and get them for free

its fine that you guys have nothing better to do than bash newbies who have questions because honestly i realize that your probaly just some freak that sits infront of the computer all day

Yeah, im a freak who sits infront of his computer all day doing my job as a programmer ;-) Pays well, i can assure you.

As for bashing newbies, perhaps. Bashing people new to the hobby - Perish the thought.

I would rather someone approached the hobby with an open mind, humility, respect for the fish and made clear, Genuine posts that are enjoyable to read.

As for your current stocking plans, sounds better, my appologies for not trawling through the other 13 pages and spotting them.

Craggy

yea a school of 24 exos sound pretty beast dosnt it ? :)

the wolf will be cool to

i decided to not get the fh cause i dont want to be stuck on getting a larger tank
and if it stays in the 20l to long it could get stunted

when nate at massive agression said that colored wolves are comunial does that mean that they can be housed with a school of exodons ?

Exodons are a poor choice. They are an active schooling fish that get around 4" each. They do best in best in large school with swimming space.

Why do you need an "agressive" fish? Are you trying to compensate for something? There are really are not a lot of truely 'agrressive" fish to be honest. What most people consider agression really a fish imposing teritorial dominace because he is in small confines or because it eats another fish simply because it can fit in his mouth. Even the most boiserous fish found in aquaria are much more docile in the wild.

Yes I do stare at the computer all day, as a network engineer that what I do. Thus I am paid to frequent forums from time to time. I stick by my original statement that "you need to reevaluate this hobby". That is not a put down or a blow to you, just a wise suggestion based on the comments you have made on this thread.

I am afraid that is not the case. Exodons can get up to 6" in the wild and 4"+ in the home aquaria. There is noway to keep a number of these active schooling fish this size happy and healthy in a 20 gallons tank.

I dont know him/her however 36 exodons is a 20 gal is asinine.

/thread.

they very rarely reach 3in in the home aquarium

you're going to put 24 exo's in a 20 long? do you expect them to not eat each other? even the bio load on that tank is going to be silly
