If there are 50% fertile hybrids, you can be damn sure there will be 88% and 75% etc... has happened with everything else...

the super balls are 100% fertile (from what i've read).

do a google search for 'super ball pythons', and the first link is roussis reptiles or something like that. click it, and you will see that they have 2nd generation super balls (both parents are super balls). this might keep people from breeding back into the blood/ball lines, as they won't need to in order to make fertile babies

yeah, you can live and hope, but people will be breeding them back to original species to see what happens as they have done with diamond carpets, carpondros etc.

Don't forget the carpalls. I mean I can see breeding Borneo bateaters, because at least that probably happens in nature once in a while (though all hybrids, no matter what percentage, should be labeled as such), and at least bloods/Borneos and balls are in the same genus even if they are from different continents, but breeding Python to Morelia for any reason whatsoever is ridiculous.

you know what i think would really help. if hybrids were called 'borneo blood x ball python' instead of calling it something that makes it sound like it is a seperate species. then more people would know what they are getting into IMO

Folks who pay that much for a snake probably have a good idea of what they're getting.
