if you can wait till end of summer the left over above ground pools that didn't sell set marked down drasticly. last summer i got a brand new in box 12'x3' round pool for 100 bucks!!! it was regular price of $220.00

shower curtain liners all have mildew preventing chemicals. don't use shower curtain liners!

I use my old shower curtains as drop cloths for when I do some painting around the house.
They also work well for me when I clean the gravel out of a fish tank by keeping the floor dry.

They are strong, they dont rip or poke holes, and they are about the right size for most of my indoor projects.
and when they are messy I can just toss them out.

kumdoalan - didn't mean not to use them for anything, just not as a pond liner because of the chemicals! we use our old ones as dropcloths, but they do get slippery when wet.

the sun will have it dry and brittle in short order, we use them to cover demo car batterys and gas tanks, and after a month in the sun they are like patoto chips. this is my wisdom only but we go thru a couple dozen a year
