Super dark sajica breeding color

It's pretty cool. She's turned nearly black a few times.

Here's what she usually looks like

Wow that is sweet! Sajicas get really dark in breeding mode. There was some great pics in Tropical Fish Hobbyist where they were completly black with like red trim on their fins.

I saw those pics too. Mine hasn't gone that dark, and she tends to look more purple than that.

Pretty sure they are actually both female, but their sex seems to be pretty tentative at best. I'd love to think they're a pair, but I have yet to have fry, so pffft to that I guess. LOL Everyone who sees them who has more experience than me says "I THINK they're both female." So weird. Certain things point to them being m/f, and everything else says f/f. I'd love to find someone who wants to get rid of a confirmed male. They're really gorgeous fish, though. I lucked out on how they colored up because they were less than 1" when I bought them.

Nope, it would seem that this is hot girl-on-girl action. It's still up for grabs, with some poeple saying f/f, and some saying m/f.

And for the record, it would seem that all my fish are *** anyway.
