After taking off the acrylic hood that came with my 88 gallon Kamfa tank, I was left with the issue of how to best set up my 2 X 24" LED lights which were formerly housed in the hood. Would like to hang them from the ceiling but it's just not practical given we rent not own.
At first I was just kind of resting the LED's on sponges and taped in place, placed on the the side and cross braces of my tank; not really ideal.
So after watching quite a few YouTube DIY videos I settled on a solution that many people have used before: hang rails with brackets, but with a local Asian twist using bamboo on some parts. Later I may make an all-bamboo fixture, but this one works great and was so cheap to make (about $15).
