not that I can ever forsee, they are so tiney even if the manage to puff up (which I have never see), they would be about the girth of a fat danio.

i dont mind them being dinner for my gulper, and i dont want something thatll outgrow my gulpers home cus then itll haveto go into my ancient tank and thatd be weird

I stand corrected. Since being eaten is not an issue, but cost is, I'd suggest danios. They're quick swimmers and very cheap.
