super help-- super red pigeons turned to white butterflies!!

dont take this thread wrong---
im not blaming this on the breeder or importer!!!!

just curious how often this happens in pigeon strains (i knew there was a chance)

and curious if there was anything i could do to reverse it

I believe it has to do with how they make this strain. I believe they use or have used butterflys to create this strain. Causing some individuals in a spawn to do this.

Progressively getting whiter. And is getting whiter every month.

Bummer you're disappointed but I think it's pretty normal. I honestly think they look great.

they are great!!! and they are healthy which is what matters

its just i want my RED and white fish back !!! hahaha

They look like white butterflies now. Nothing you could do it's just in there genes. I bet they would look great with black rays :)

I don't think it turned the wrong way I think its just genetics and the possibility of it happening to certain fish. You never know whats in the genetic stew of alot of strains.
