At that size it will take him a few months to settle, be patient and give him time,, the bigger the fish the longer it takes

Ok thanks,,, It's my first wild caught fish and he run off every time I come near the tank,, I'm jus not use to Dovii doing that, the younger ones I've kept in the past were very aggressive,,, I ordered an adult WC female last week,, Hopefully this will help him come around a bit more. I built a divider for the tank so they won't kill each other during the adjusting stage

Absolutely nothing wrong with him... he is just not used to a small space (in comparison to his home) with prying eyes , lights and all the strange action and sounds happening around him.
You still have to earn his trust... BTW you have a stunner on hand.... post some pics of the lady he is going to court.
 
That beauty needs a thread of his own....can't esoteric see more ....
 
I have plenty of pics of him but I can't seem to find out how to post on here, that's why I posted under this old conversations?? Do u have to have so many pints or trophies or something, Somebody help me out
 
At the top of the page on ca/sa section there is a box labeled start new thread click on that, you don't need points or trophys, a few pints always helps though
