I did some fin enhancement for my super red arowana and manage to do drop eye correction.

did remove some excess fats on the back of the eye.
will update the progress after a week.

Can you explain why you slit the fins. Does it grow back larger or what’s the purpose? Also, did you medicate them water with antibiotics when you put the fish back in the main tank?

it will make it more wider and thicker
nope i didnt medicate the tank after. only sedation for him to sleep. its my first time so i was very cautious and nervous. i will surely perform another one in near future and i already know what i will do. im afraid at first coz maybe aro will die. hahaha.

Thanks for the clarification. It looked like you’ve done it many times, especially when correcting drop eye. Do you have before and after pics of the fins and eyes?

Update on my super red arowana.
no tanning for maybe 1 year now as i focus onmy black diamond stingrays.
i have a new tank right now and transferred my black diamond stingray pair.
i added also albino silver.
i hope i can make the super red more beautiful. he was with divider for almost a year also.
