There used to be plenty of SH in SIN. I've seen Cichlids Forever got a full tank before.

12" is a good size of a lung to start. I failed few pcs around 6~7" (very expensive here). The smaller ones are not stable, and need more care. They are really slow, and are very weak food competitor. Hence, if it's with something like rays, or SH, they will starve to death. I used to keep the 12" lungfish with a 11" disc ray, the ray broke the "legs" of lungfish frequently. I currently keep the lungfish with some bichirs (delhezi, palmas, polli, ropefishes). They are pretty ok so far. However, think I'll have to keep it alone in a tank as it grow big. It might try to eat anything near due to its bad eyesight and its slow motion.
