My advise is to remove that turtle. Firstly it's a huge bio load contributer and secondly, it will nip at fishes.

its true i had a FRT with my aro for ages it worked fine but the nitrates were throw the roof from the FRT

my FRT was fine for ages never bothered anything the aro used to keep it in its place as soon as i sold the aro the FRT went mad and started to kill fish 2 x tigers/dats and a endy

i dont really know to much about red aros i have always had a gold face

but i got a super red to add to my aro com today so i will be learning as much as i can about red aros now they can be much diffrent to gold aros

your tank looks great if you do loads of water changes say 30% every other day you should be fine with the FRT

No matter how much fileration you have its the nitrates that are the problem with FRT

Guarantee the is a super red. From SHELOOKRED I am not going to lie though my pictures suck. I will try again.

Filtration is 2 FX5s and 1 XP4 with a 18 watt turbo twist uv sterilizer and a SEio 1500
I overfilter all my tanks.

The FRT is a kids favorite so he aint going anywhere.
