As you can see I'm not great at taking pics, but I will certainly try to get some with more light.

I haven't tanned yet, I have two of these guys from the same batch, I want to try doing one at a time to see the difference if any, and how much.

will the they be fed the same type of food?

As for the same parents I'm not sure, but they are from the same harvest and their number is within 5 digits of each other. And I am going to keep the diet the same, I have had the best results with the following diet: from most to less; prawn, trout/salmon, tuna, catfish, superworms.

Nice work bro, now how about shipping them over to the UK ;)
 
Basically red develop their colouration through age and not size nor tanning. That's why even you tan a young fish, the fish will never obtain the full coverage like an adult fish.
