mate, the extra spotting on the lighter ray - is that normal. my motoro has developed some spots different from the prominent enclosed orange spots and i was wondering if it's a normal thing. i don't have a close up pics, but they look very similar to the lighter ray you have.

No its quite unique, its called superspotting. Some Motoro rays will keep the extra spotting for a long time others loose it after a while. If your ray looks like the lighter one (female) in the vid then you have a unique Motoro ray.
