my noobness is showing but what is translucent and how is it different than albino?

It is a recessive mutation similar to hypomelanism, with a sprickle of diferent genetics.

Its actually a codominant trait. There are patches that have no pigment, some that almost look translucent and others that are just black.

I dont think that was exacly that I saw on kingsnake selling a big wille ago....The male was whitish and yellow.
