I prefer to use earth worms. Free food prepare them properly and you can't go wrong.

I would but we treat our yard, dont wanna chance the worms having poison in them or something, because I heard not to if you treat your yard.

but we treat it for like weeds and grubs. so that wouldnt affect the worms would it?

they are not bad to feed your fish but their exoskeleton is not too digestible so it is better off just feeding other foods and maybe use them as a treat instead

Okay so i was at petsmart today and got a 25ct of superworms which I think are meal worms right? Can I feed these to my oscar and other fish? I read that you should crush there heads or cut them off so they dont eat the fish from the inside, can they really do that or will they be fine as is?

I feed the superworms direct to the O's I have......My fish have learned how to eat from hand......By holding the worm between my fingers, the fish grew less shy of coming up to my hand at the surface and eating from it......
