Bets? Their will only be 1 fish in a couple months. The gravel is horrible too. That oscar is gonna get owned. What is the size of the tank? Where is the trimac? I see like three or four F.H. , Oscar, F.M. and a R.D......

First off in was kidding about seeing who goes down first my fish all get along and my ebjd is loved in my tank nothing messes with him they are well feed and are on a time schedule so i have no worries and i got news for you yakuza what i do with my fish doesn't affect you amatter fact i know for a fact i may have a few fights but i will never let it go to the point where i lose one cause i gone to far to get them all together, but ty for ur concern for My fish

well to answer the actuall question im gonna say the RD

Hey, Kratos, EBJDs tend to be less aggressive than "normal" JDs. And JDs aren't even in the same league as Trimacs in terms of aggression.

If other people say they are incompatible, you should consider seperating them.
A fight can break out between fish that seem to be getting along (as some fish can get along for a while), something snaps and they can be fatally injured or killed in a short amount of time...even if you are home a lot.

Obviously Kratos is new to cichlid keeping. I think what set you guys off is that he said 'lets take bets to see who's going to die'. But then he said he was just kidding around. Let's forget he said that and give him a break. Remember when we were new? We didn't know sh*t from shinola on what was compatible with what or even understand the concept of how few cichlids you can keep in a tank. Most of us long timers learned by trial and error. At least he has an opportunity to learn from our experience...now if he keeps up the B.S., that's a different story.

Kratos, apparently you have a 65 gallon tank. I know you don't want to hear this but in the near future, that tank will only be large enough to house either 1 Oscar OR 1 Red Devil OR 1 Trimac (Flowerhorn in your case). I know it sucks but that's the short end of the stick my friend. If you want to keep multiple fish, you could keep the EBJD and a couple of other less agressive and smaller growing cichlids or other type of fish like some Silver Dollars or other dithers.

Good Luck in your new hobby.

:iagree: YOu took the words right of of my mouth, give a guy a break, i'm sure we've all screwed up some time or another. But yea you're def gonna have to get a bigger tank or start seperating.
