I like it a lot. But I am sort of a die hard superman fan :)

I like the way they got rid of the "american way" line, in favor of a broader, global friendly style of superhero. The deciscion was made to try to make superman appeal to the global audience.

The story was absurdus, but if you've ever casually read a comic book or two, superhero stories aren't really known for plausibility.

They took it in a new direction and did it well.

My favorite scene was when he is floating in space above the earth and all the noises that flood his head while he searches for someone in peril.

:D

eh IMO Superman is what he was made to be. Why change the most classic comic book character ever. I don't like it but I kinda like old-school stuff staying old school I suppose. But IMO screw that if people hate America so much then don't watch our freakin movies, I don't care. b.s. if you ask me. Changing something basically because our (american) way of life might offend people. All about the DOLLARS is the only reason. Not to try and make him globally friendly. That is why I won't give them mine. If they want to slight america to increase their profit then I will make sure they won't profit off of me.

Yes I liked that scene, I also liked how he fell and "died". There sure were awesome scenes, the movie could have been made better though. And yes I like the ,"truth, justice and the American way," being taken off....things have changed, today it sounds...well it creates seperation. I see Superman as Superman of the earth among all other Superheroes. Did you notice there was the American flag in Spiderman lll? Well of course basically all these characters are invented there, so are the movies. I have nothing nor can I have anything against that whatsoever.

Thank you America. ;)
