SuperWater keep f/w & s/w fish in same tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It is impossible to keep freshwater fish with saltwater fish (In general) in the same water. One or the other will die. Unless I can get proper evidence, I call this BS.

well people had alot of trouble keeping tropical fish hundreds of years ago in a glass box, until some one discovered the biological media that converts ammonia to nitrite to nitrate.

people thought going to the moon was BS.

i think, actually KNOW this is possible.
you know what, i was stupid to post this here for all your ignorant people to look at.

mystix212 get proper evidence that it's BS, i got mine that proves it isn't

War, What is it good for, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

lets not fight. it may be plausible. those pictures could have been shot in full saltwater cuz i have heard goldfish can live up to 20 min in salt. so that could happen.

or

With our advances in technology i think it could be possible within the next 50 years that scientists will come up with "super water" where salt and fresh coexist.

just my peace treaty:grinno:

All Im saying is that based on how fish live, it is impossible to get a freshwater fish to live in full strength saltwater and vice versa for a long period of time.

I believe you can keep fresh and salt water fish together in this super water, but only if you feed them magical beans. Get them here http://www.jacksmagicbeanstalk.com

salt and fresh water fish can be kept to getther only suter ones though like......snook, snappers(some) tarpoon, and many others but freshwater fish can't live in salt.

aww...yes...I remember. you can also walk on it. And if you drink it you wont' grow old.
that is red sea water , i could not walk on it either, i think to much of my fish to experiment with them, what do the japanese know about water they can build cars, motorcycles, tv's, computers :)

I remember hearing about that, something like using sugar to increase specific gravity without altering the osmotic transfer of water...I don't think it would be viable for long lol.

This is how we know our hobby is legitimate..... We have our own urban legends.....

Seriously though, I read about this a couple years ago on reef central, and no information other than internet pictures and a journal article of unknown origin / publishing was sighted. If this were true, you wouldn't have to search out 4 year old obscure internet posts ... it would be all over the place and reputable people in the aquarium community would be lecturing about it at fish expos.

Maybe we should submit this "Technology" to snopes.com LOL!
