you mean can try, right?

i breed crickets already.

i am wondering because im thinking of breeding superworms. they only turn into beetles if you put them by themselves with no food or water. that is actually an advantage since u can choose when to pupate them and also how many you want to actually breed.

im just thinking that i could put the beetles to some other use after they fulfilled their original duties.

and i only keep fish that can handle a good crunch. superworms are pinchy too though, aren't they?

oh im sorry typo error,i men yes crickets are better in my opinion, you can choke your fish feeding that hard covered beetle,i suggest the worm stage better

as for my experience crickets are easier to breed than those, all you need is coco peat, water,&food, keep them warm

My blue channel cat and tiger shovelnose and butter cat eat about 100 superworms a week lol they are great I don't even kill them just throw them in. They also like all kinds of crickets etc at night time I can get them to eat on the surface :)

ive run into complications... idno where to find superworms...

all 5 lfs i looked through had mealworms but none of them had any clue as to what superworms are... omg. lol
