my local pet store said if i feed my basilisk superworms and she doesnt chew it that it could stay alive and eat through her belly is that going to happen if ifeed my 17-18" long basilisk or is there nothing to worry about?

that is complete hogwash
go ahead and feed him/her as much as she wants
but you must post pics

I highly doubt they could eat through her stomach. I prefer to prekill superworms though because the do bite very hard and although unlikely, if she were to grab it by the back end there is a risk it could get her in the eye.

I fed my yellow throated plated lizzard mealworms and superworms all the time with no problems, and he didnt chew much either

would large gut loaded crickets be better than superworms or would the superworms be better
varied diet is key

if i kill the superworms to make sure they cant bite her in the face i dont want that to happen since she attacks mealworms in the rear she wont eat them she only eats moveing food so im going to feed her regular meal worms and large gut loaded crickets wat type of feeder fish would she be able to eat since they also eat fish would rosy reds be okay?

If you crush the superworms head they still move for a while without the risk of bites.

feed both. the more variety the better.

and dont worry about them eating through him lol. his stomach acid will take care of that if he doesnt. they just want you to buy crickets becasue they will get more $$$
